If you don’t know “wtf are lens” then you shouldn’t be buying a digital SLR, which is what this camera is. With all due respect, use your cell phone camera, which also has a lens. Or get a compact digital camera.

For future reference: without a lens (singular case) photography would not be possible. Your eye has one too.

i agree with veito… sorry, but i doubt youd understand the answers.

if you want to learn, then an easy way is just go look on Ebay, and read the sellers blurb. that’ll tell you what the camera will do. (and theres a lot to choose from)

personally, cannon makes printers and photocopiers… their cameras break… ebay is full of broken cannons.

A decent Nikon D60 or an Olympus E1 can be had for under 300 quid.. youre FAR better off buying quality S/H than a middling new one.

Canon cameras -
If you’re a professional, or even a semi profession, you should buy 30D,40D,50D, D5, 1D .
if you are just looking for a camera for fun, you can consider XTI, XSI, 500D (they are amazing for their price).

in any case, here is an article that will help you choose the right camera for you :

and another article for a beginner photographer :

hope it helped
