SLR (Single Lens Reflex) for quality shots, digital camera for casual shots. If you wanna skip the whole development proces, go digital. If you are really into quality and have a bit more money, get a SLR model. Wolf, Sony, Kodak, and Olympus all make great cameras,

* Use cool angles (not crazy, lops-sided, upside-down). Gives it a little bit of jazz when doing something informal and fun.
* Use good lighting & positioning when taking a photo. You don’t want to cast a shadow on your subject or see it in bad lighting.
* Take pictures of things that strike up an emotion in you, or make you feel a certain way. That’s the point of art; to express emotions. It’s not fun to just see a picture of a random tree. But if there’s something special you feel when looking at that tree, then show that feeling in your photo. The cool angle + good lighting will help portray your emotion, by the way.
* Have fun. You can’t be a good photographer if you’re not enjoying it in the first place.
Hope these helped you in some way

Okay, first of all, it’s not the camera, it’s the person behind it. So never blame a “bad camera”.
I like the beach one. And I really like the one of all the girls’s heads in a circle, thats real cute.
Just play around with angles, get up close and far away. Expirement with editing programs. If you can get it, get photoshop, it’s great.
As for getting a camera, read reviews, search the internet, decide what you want in a camera. Decide your budget. Amazon is a great site to look for cameras because they have reviews and tons of sample pictures.
Just have fun with it, get creative, try new things. There’s no wrong or right. :]
Happy Shooting ;]
