I just need some great, useful tips on photographing.
A website (that’s FREE) with a huge archive of tips would be great also.

This is one of the best online free courses,
just scroll down and click lesson 1 and so on, but its old so the ‘class’ part is no longer active but you can still read the lessons.
Also,
image-nut.com is very helpful.
Goodluck.

Best advice, take lots of shots at lots of different angles and get on the level with your subject. If you’re taking a picture of a child, don’t shoot from an adult’s perspective looking down. Get on the floor and take your shot. There are all kinds of considerations depending on hat kinds of pictures you are shooting. Suffice it to say, unless you can narrow down your goals, the best tips your going to get are the basic ones you can pull off any how to website giving advice for photos. The thing I like to do in my free time is look at what other people have done in the industry. Ask yourself, what is it about that picture that I really like. And then try to go out and do it. You’re not trying to reproduce their pictures. You’re just trying to take from their efforts those aspects of the work you really thought was great. Tips and tricks take trial and error…so get out and shoot.
